'A new national education network to support effective exchange of information and ideas amongst marine and coastal wetland educators has been launched by the Ministry of Fisheries, Vietnam and the World Conservation Union (IUCN).
The launch took place at a workshop hosted by the Ministry of Fisheries (MOFI) and the World Conservation Union (IUCN) a workshop for key stakeholders in marine and coastal wetlands education in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province , Viet Nam , from 30 August 1 September 2006 . The workshop brought together professionals from Viet Nam with delegates from Japan , Korea , Malaysia , India , Bangladesh , Nepal , and the Philippines .
It also marked the release of the publication titled “Mekong Region Water Resources Decision-making Policy Brief”. '1
