2007 POGO-SCOR Visiting Fellowships for Oceanographic Observations

The fellowship program is open to scientists, technicians, graduate students (PhD) and Post Doctoral Fellows involved in oceanographic work at centres in developing countries and countries with economies in transition. The fellowship provides airfare and a stipend for living expenses for up to three months.

The Partnership for Observation of the Global Oceans (POGO) and its partner, the Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR) announce the Fellowship Program for 2007. This program is designed to promote training and capacity building leading towards a global observation scheme for the oceans.

The fellowship program is open to scientists, technicians, graduate students (PhD) and Post Doctoral Fellows involved in oceanographic work at centres in developing countries and countries with economies in transition. The fellowship provides airfare and a stipend for living expenses for up to three months.
